Here's our brave boy ! We are real proud of his progress and the docs are too. We left the doctors saying "I love Dr S". I think LOVE may be too strong a word, I think what he meant to say was"that guy is OK with me" :) I took some video and pictures to record it all so we can talk about it and things but the most exciting thing is him being able to see out of that eye!! No where near 100% yet but will get there I'm sure. He'll be wearing sunnies for a wee while til it's all healed up, thank God for the nice brihgt weather!!

On another note, he has been entertaining us all talking to Aunty L "How did you get so cute Aunty L?" "can you play with me tomorrow Aunty L?"

Collections

Nath has some great pictures and photos....but our fridge gets overloaded....so thanks to some pin holes already in his wall...and the frequency of new pictures/photos/collections...we came up with this....doesn't quite look professional, so may evolve, but it's a great start...I think Benny will have to have one too!!!

I'm sure Benny could be a model if he didn't always have a bruise on his head LOL. He is all well and Nathan is too, the doc was convinced it wasn't the pox and it disappeared after a few days...so Wednesday is looking all go YAY!

Little spots...and alot of patience :)

So today I had a call from kindy saying Ben has little spots all up his back and neck....can you please pick him up....I will take him to the doc this afternoon (the poor lady has seen us far too often this winter, and on the last visit the bottles of pamol were much larger than ever before)...and my fears may soon be confirmed....N's op may be postponed yet again....but not to jump to conclusions....however my patience is slowly increasing....perhaps in time next to nothing will phase me....though I have my doubts on that one, hehehehe....those who know me will understand.... :)

At breakfast while Ben was throwing a tantrum, Nath quickly stepped in with "No we don't talk like that to Mummy, cos she's a beautiful lady".

Thank you Nath :) My heart melted, and Ben actually calmed down and refrained from throwing his weetbix on the floor :)

Goodbye, winter colds!!

So thats it.

I think we have finally kicked all winter chills and coughs....it seems as though the boys have been sick a fair chunk of the winter...and now we are beginning to say "Hello Sunshine, let's play!"

But first, one of our latest rainy day activities...( after learning to make SUSHI! YUM!!) puppet shows...heehee....Ben gave up on the show and instead chose to give the cat a big cuddle for a long time...ah yes he does have a soft side at times....

And this week we've had some lovely sunshine, just enough that the bike have been in the back of the car for a quick stop....the skate park, the courts, the beach....my heart already skips a beat as they do their "boy things" together....(though I do *partly* encourage it, I crave adventure in our lives...)....and then I pay for it later with the washing....!!

This skate ramp is like a tread mill for Ben, one morning I took him there and we ran and slid for almost an hour?!!!Big kids at school in the mornings so all the better for us!! Though now they like to bring their bikes on it....hmmmm....Dad might be taking them on the next trip...
