"It's OK ay Mum"
Today when dropping Nath off at preschool I said "oh no! I forgot your lunch" <Temporary-mild-motherhood-panic sets in as it is lunch time straight away.>
Nathan says"Oh.......... it's ok, we have sandwhiches though"<Nathan gives me a big smile and uses his gentle tone of voice> "Oh you're right" - I pulled out a very squashed Marmite sandwhich from my bag . Squeezes on to my hand and says, "It's OK ay Mum, thanks Mum". Ooooohhhhhh Nathie, thank you for being so easy to please (especially when I know you knew your lunch box had much nicer things in it!).

Pondering...
Sunday night, I'm getting ready for the week. Not actually done anything practical. Though that would probably help. I think that's mostly done though....hmmmm.... there is some strange smell in my laundry and a layer or 5 on the carpet.....Anyway. I'm just thinking, and pondering on the future (about til Wednesday is all I can muster at the moment, thank goodness for Outlook calendars).
Last week was a shocker. Yes, it had some great points I'm sure(which at this point I am struggling to remember....ah yes, I think the best was a nice big long chat with my hubby on Saturday afternoon.....was a bit of a turning point after which I felt much better about the world. My Most Wonderful Person can cheer me up quite easily :) ).
While I remember.....The other good thing about the week was buying vegies from our saturday markets....cucumbers for 50cents....peppers 3 for $1....who needs New World (especially after my last trip to the supermarket with two toddlers. Needless to say, we now have supermarket rules. ). I also went to the markets On My Own.
So this week. One step at a time I think. First step....lights out and a good nights sleep :)

We are all very excited here, and Nathan gives us the update of how many days (some times varies from 10 to 2 to today in a matter of minutes). Exciting!!!
