Matty

So this first picture may not be the best to introduce you to Matt, my youngest brother (In case you can't read it is says "I love physics" on the badge). He's actually really cool.
In some ways really similar to Nathan, which may make me a little biased. He is a whole-hearted and kind-hearted guy with alot of go-getter too (thanks to Josh's toughening up I think) and really proud of how he is growing up. Seems like he is representing something for sports all the time, but I think people are alot more important to him than sports, or hope that this will be the case :).

Geeks and things

Lisa's 21st was pretty funny....honestly, some HORRIBLE costumes! The theme was 'geeks and gangstas', with prizes of calculators and choccies. "GOSH".

Lisa had a great time I think and sigh, once again I was the first to cry at the speeches but thankfully was followed by Josh and Lis .....heh. I "forgot" my camera....so sorry, no pix!

The boys found it a little crazy but were okay come Sunday morning. We all went swimming at the "Cole-hole" - a river just up the road.....BEAUTIFUL NZ style....and I just love my cousins! Ella and Sam and Jonathon....haven't quite got to know little Anna yet, but she is a cutie! And then today at home the boys were ANGELS.

I say it again, they were angels!!! Nath was showing me where to put things away, saying thank you for his dinner, helping with Ben, and showing off some of his humour (which I find surprisingly funny!).

On a deeper level, things are really happening too. We got to spend some time with a couple in Tuaranga who are heading up the House of Prayer down there. After bombarding them with questions, I am confronted and uncomfortable....maybe not so uncomfortable but so hungry for my walk with God to be so much more strong, so much more real and evident. Not just me, but my neighbours and friends.

'What are you gonna do with a God like this? So big and beautiful"

bummer!

Well didn't get the job. Think maybe too young and not enough experience. Think it was cool to be able to give it a go, just will be interesting to see what comes of it!

Pretty cool!

Our backyard is now pretty cool for someone Nathan's age. Swings, strawberries, apples, grapes, pool, a building table and thanks to Nika, a homemade sandpit!

So O.T.T.!!!

The other day I was like "I would really like some silverbeet to have in the garden to mash into Nath and Ben's food" (it's really good for them and they are young enough to like it!Not to mention the convenience). it was kind of like a prayer but more just came out of my thoughts or something without me really noticing too much!

Anyway, the next day a friend came around with about 15 plants - some silverbeet and lots of lettuce. Amazing!!!

But then we took apart our compost (going to build a sandpit where it is) and put the soil from it on the garden....and HEAPS of tomato and pumpkin plants sprouted!!! Like, too many for our garden! It was like, God, you are so over the top this is awesome!

Nonetheless, they are wilting at the moment as I just spread them out....so hopefully with lots of water they get right again. Yipee!!!
