I always thought Mother Teresa was some kind of amazing person that "happened" - like totally out of the blue. So I got this biography about her and was amazed to find that a LOT of her values were taught to her by who? Her mum! Things like "anything we eat we share." They often had people in need eat at their house - regularly - etc, etc.
Makes me think there are not so many "freaks of nature"!
