Getting right into the Christmas spirit!!!

Swim!

It's arrived....we have a paddling pool! Ann sent it up today and I'm sure it's meant to be a Christmas present but I figured since it wasn't wrapped in Chritmas paper (just the courier box) it would be OK....it's brilliant, really cute, even has a sun shade gazebo thing which is fantastic. Can't wait for a swim in my own back yard!

The weekender

Woah, what a looooong weekend, feels like we did soooooooo much. My step sister-in-law (I think that's what you would call her) Renata got maried in Rotorua on Saturday....bizarre not going to the actual ceremony, but good to get to know this side of the family more and am just beginning to feel more comfortable being with them which is quite cool! Got to see Tan who is back from Oz, and says she might be over here til after Christmas! Yipee!!

Stopped off to see Mum, Lani, Debs and Grampy...can't wait to hang out more over Christmas...sometimes I would really love to live closer!!

Christmas

This is really strange, I think this is the most I have been excited about Christmas EVA! I think it has something to do with Nathan and Ben - we put up the Christmas tree on Saturday and he was in heaven...."light...light...LIGHTS!! Cool....lights are cool (I think that has to be his first sentence - we knew it had to be something to do with lights)....It's all very exciting and feels nice and I think fuzzy would be almost the perfect word. No, no chocolates on the tree this year, Nath would just eat them, foil and all....ok, maybe a few up the top for Nika :o)

Ok, so I have to admit I come from one of the funniest families....and this includes one of my sisters, Lisa. She's halarious, pretty stubborn (I mean, persistent when she has a strong opinion on it), and can be completely annoying. The funny thing is though, that she has become one of my most trusted friends and someone I can really share with. Maybe it's because she's been through so much and has been totally honest through it all. And she's seen the worst of me and still thinks I'm great. I love it, I love her....love you Lis! xxxx

4 Generations!!!!

Ben & Nath had a really cool time with their Nanna & Grandad, all the Cole aunties and uncles....and Grampy Pete (shown in pic) all the way from Melbourne, Australia....yes....I really am quite proud of my Aussie blood!!!!

Mum and Dad got us a place at the Twin Towers right next to the Mount....brilliant....great birthday for Nika....and managed to go shopping for him too...OUT go the Impact World Tour shirts :). In true Rikiriki style, popped over to the beach just to feel that gorgeous golden sand in our toes...grabbed some KFC, a hot soak and sky tv.... So awesome to be able to spend some great time together knowing the kids are happy and safe!! Love this whanau!!!
