Love the colours

I just love the colours of Autumn....as I do all that I can to bring back Summer.....to no avail - Winter always comes :( which I survive only with the belief that it is a good day if its not raining...and can take the boys outside....:)

Another phase

So the last few days there has been a little "mechanic fury" here...quite a change from the endless building ...I peeked in at Nath yesterday to find him on his back under his bed with gloves (aka socks) on his hands "doing some repairs". And today his lego men were doing repairs under the vehicles..

Recent adventures

Baking also becomes an adventure with boys...

With the rain starting and not minding if they use the water from the tank mud has been most enjoyable :)

Finding the treasure at our Easter treasure hunt!! Photos for clues were just right for them :)

Nathans Birthday pics

This year Nathan was very specific about what he wanted - a Digger cake (unable to think of a way to make an arm I did a Bulldozer)and his two best friends - one who he spends hours building with and the other a little princess from over the road :) We also had two of his favourite aunties surprise us with visits which really made it special for Nath.

Get this - I'm in my PJs making the cake and Nath right from the beginning is standing there Ï love you so much Mummy, you're doing such an awesome job. Thank you so much for this cake Mummy"- He is so lovely :) And such a big boy now!!

Finally returned!

The word (and feeling) Refreshed has entered my vocabulary for the first time in a long time...I went away by myself for the first time since having kids, it was fantastic - alone time....loved it...listening to music/sermons/journalling/SLEEPING. Much recommended to any mum with young littlies out there....will become something I could book in a few times a year I think....I actually was looking forward to coming home...the boys actually missed me....and was able to see a glimpse of myself which I haven't seen in a long time! Yay!
