A sunny morning in the middle of SO much rain!

It was such a warm sunny morning today we all just had to get outside and burn off ALL THAT ENERGY...a few things that 'warm my heart' - watching Nathan run and tear around (something he never used to do and wasn't sure if he ever would, pre-ops) and - watching the two guys having fun together....

Boys at "school"!

Something Nathan has been waiting for 'bringing his brother to preschool'....I've been waiting for it too! This morning is a first of a wee trial...the boys are at preschool together!

Conversation...

Nika sits down at the breakfast table.

Nath grabs his hand and says "you're great Daddy, do you know that? Do you know that?"

Pause.

"You're a CHAMPION!"

Hehe, cool lil guy to have huh?

Fire engines and other machines

Today was transport day at Mainly Music, so this morning we made a Hot Rod car out of boxes and met our friends there....the police and firemen and some racing cars turned up too, lots of fun!!!

travelling and going places

Big travels the last week - round the BOP, a quick stay with Mum and Dad....had a LOVELY wedding in Rotorua so got all dressed up for a GREAT celebration....while the boys had some fun with Poppa, Rhonda and Frankie did a great job I hear of changing nappies ;)

Closer bonds

The weekend almost to a close (just waiting for the man of our house to get home)....and I've had my big brother stay with his lovely other half....YAY! Really really special for us, the first time the boys have really had their own time with Josh and Misty. I was SO blessed by the quick response to my "I need company" call, kind words, yummy cooking, gentleness and encouragement to the boys(as well as some good rough and tumble with Josh). Seeing the boys easy response was only proof to me of J & Ms big hearts and love for others.
